TOUGH TASK

On the commentary page of the Sunday Advocate, an article by Carl Redman entitled "Jefferson faces Tough Task".

It is not Jefferson that faces the TOUGH TASK: BUT people like Mr. Redman; pollsters, talk show hosts, politicians, and
many others of us ordinary people that judge themselves capable of making their own DECISIONS.

What do I mean?

In the history of the State of Louisiana, there has never been an election year such as this election year is, and will be. Three
major things taking place that will divide the voters. Call it RACISM - MORALITY - oh, somehow I just don't have quite the word
to express my thoughts. I, in my thinking, call it "ELECTED OFFICIALS NOT VOTING THEIR CONSCIENCE".

Well, the first one of the three has just come to pass last week - what was it ?

THE CLINTON IMPEACHMENT

Headline Saturday Advocate: NOT GUILTY. Notice no mention that Clinton was found INNOCENT. Think about that.

100 U.S. Senators - not a SINGLE LONE BLACK Senator, still the Democratic Vote was 100% the same. Not a single
Senator had a mind of his own. It was all party votes. The vote was not the conscience of the Senate, but the PARTY FIRST.

As Louisiana has no Political Parties that vote as the U.S.Senate did, the vote will be racist. WHY?

The vote in Louisiana that takes place between today and the vote for Governor. What is that vote?

The special election to fill a Congressional seat which was brought about by the vote in the U.S.Senate. The
MUDSLINGING in Washington D.C. which created the vacancy in the First Congressional District of Louisiana. Editorial writers
for newspaper political opportunistic talk show hosts, etc. - all will stir up the HATE FACTOR against David Duke and his
supporters. Meanwhile, both sides are overlooking the third party that VOTE in every election. Who are they? They are the people
who do not favor either side.

In this race, we are back where we were 8 years ago this year. Remember VOTE for the CROOK at any COST. TRUE
WORDS were that not. After this battle cometh the words of Mr. Redman's article.

Remember this - there will still be political scars in Washington D.C. from the party vote of Feb. 12, 1999. And unruffled
feathers from the Duke voters of the 1st District election.

Maybe when this is over, the State of Louisiana will return to a TWO PARTY SYSTEM. and become more like the other
49 states.
